DESTRUCTION OF OHIO'S ECONOMY

Newly elected Ohio Governor Mike DeWine in office for only slightly over two months has made it clear what type of Governor he will be, a taxing Governor.  In February Gov DeWine proposed an 18 cent increase in Ohio's Gas Tax in order to improve the states roadways.  This proposed increase would take gas up to $2.76 a gallon at today's price of $2.58 as seen on Oberlin Ave in Lorain Ohio. Furthermore, the tax increase on diesel would be .20 cents per gallon taking the price of diesel over $3.00 a gallon.

What is Governor DeWine thinking?  what other taxes does he have in store for Ohioans?

The voters apparently do not get a say in this tax increase, slamming Ohioans as well as other travelers from out of state with an unfair tax increase can be considered taxation without representation, similar to what the English King George the III did to American Colonists.  This tax increase will harm Ohio's economy.  If a truck driver charges $50 to deliver goods to the nearest grocery store and the driver clears $35 that same driver may now have to charge $75 to maintain his $35 net pay.  This is like a thermometer showing a temperature increase. Once the truck driver increases his price to the store then the store will now have to increase their price to the consumer.  If you are currently paying $2.00 for a gallon of milk once the tax takes affect you could be paying $5.00 for that gallon of milk.

Are there other ways possible besides increasing the gas tax? I for one truly believe that there are, you could create a tax on the lottery say possibly a 3% as an example or possibly a lottery ticket strictly for the roads or a statewide gambling tax.  As the price of gas goes up so will other prices. This rise in the gas tax could cause some independent businesses to go out of business. Gas prices are already on the increase and may result in the soccer kids or other school sports to cease due to the cost of transportation.  A tax increase is never a good solution to anything. Ohioans may be faced with the possibility of a state impeachment or recall election.

SPEAKING GOD'S NAME

Are you afraid to speak or mention God's name because you're afraid you might offend someone whether it be in your home with other family members or in a public place such as a school, grocery store, public meeting?   We have many religions in the world, we have the Hindus, the Buddhist, The Islamic religion, the Jewish religion and the Christian religion.  These faiths all pray to what some call a higher power and some call God.  I happen to say God.

Here in the United States of America we are a Christian nation, yes we have other religions in our country because we allow you to practice whatever faith you have, we allow Freedom of Religion, we do not discriminate on that.  If you want to pray to Mother Nature, or the Man in the Moon and worship Marigolds, you are allowed to do so, just as I am allowed to pray to and worship God. I have my faith which is Christianity, in my faith we pray to God in his son Jesus' name, this is my right.

We seem to have a problem in our country with certain groups of people who want to deny us the right to speak God's name.  To all of you newcomers to the United States, if you don't like what you're hearing, you are free to walk away from any type of conversation regarding the Christian God where we will speak of his son Jesus, you do not have to stand or sit and listen, you do not have to feel like you are being attacked because someone prays and ask Jesus for forgiveness.

Recently in the State of Pennsylvania a horrible atrocity took place in their Statehouse, a State Representative invoked the name of God and his son Jesus when she gave an opening prayer for their session. Here is what she said
"Jesus I thank you for this privilege lord of letting me pray.  I Jesus am your ambassador here today representing you, the King of kings, the Lord of lords.  The Great I Am."   "God forgive us - Jesus- we've lost site of you, we've forgotten you, God, in our country, and we're asking you to forgive us." She paraphrased the Bible passage  2 Chronicles 7: 14, " If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek your faith, and turn from their wicked ways, that you'll heal our land,"   "Thank you that we're blessed because we stand by Israel." ( Referencing Genesis 12:3)
The invocation was concluded by her saying " I claim all these things in the powerful, mighty name of Jesus, the one who, at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess Jesus, that you are lord in Jesus' name."
A newly elected woman, a democrat to the Pennsylvania House is offended by the prayer.
Rep. Movita- Johnson- Harrell who was a newly sworn in Representative from Philadelphia though the whole prayer was offensive she described it as"A weaponization of Jesus and the Israeli- Palestinian issue."

Fox News reported on this Associated Press Article
Prayer, opening invocation by PA State Rep. Stephanie Borowicz
Article published by Randy DeSoto March 27th 2019 in The Western Journal at 12:08 pm and modified at 9:40 pm

This is not an attack on any one person or religion as Rep. Johnson_Harrell and other democrats want to make it out to be, what this is an attack on is anyone's right to freely speak anything other than the democrats way.  We have a growing problem in this country with a certain group trying to take our country down, we as Americans have to stand up to this or we will have no freedoms at all and our country as we know it will cease to exist.
Thank You for reading have a great day Tim
